Program requirements:
- The competition is for students of Universities in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Poland
- The number and specification of sections may be changed by the organisers according to the number and focus of applied projects
- Students apply individually or through their faculties (departments, institutes):
- application with a specified number of works (or a title for each work, section and/or suggested referees from the faculty) shall be sent not later than April 7. 2007
- abstract (will be published in a book of abstracts of STOÈ´2007 competition) - one full page of A4 in MS-Word including figures and references – to be sent by e-mail, no later then April 7. 2007 (templates are available for download at http://akce.fs.vsb.cz/2007/stoc2007/anotace.zip). It is requested to keep the format, since the book of abstracts will also be published on the Internet, as a PDF document.
- Student work (2 issues) with maximum 10 pages. (possibly in a 2 column structure) including figures and amendments can be delivered in advance to the contact address or submitted to the referees of the committee before the opening section
- Participants will present their work (10 min presentation maximum) to the committee consisting of delegates from universities and sponsoring companies (PC with Win2000/XP+MSOffice2000/XP/2003, and data projector with 800x600 resolution will be available)
- Note: sessions „Computer aided control with PLC and SCADA/HMI“ and „Information and management systems“ are part of the Faculty of Mining and Geology VSB-TUO Students competition level (http://www.hgf.vsb.cz/SVOC.htm).
Prizes:
First three winning works will be awarded financially (4000, 2000, 1000 Kè in each section) and prizes from the sponsors- ABB, s.r.o.
