About the Seminar

  • It is connected to the tradition of specialized conferences with foreign participants, held at VŠB Ostrava since 1975 under the title of Seminar ASŘ.
  • It creates space for the presentation of expert scientific results from teachers, those working in cooperation with schools and other technical specialists in the branches of Automatic Control, Measuring Systems, the Application of Personal Computers and for those using the Computer Network for information, diagnostic and control systems.
  • It enables the exchange of experience of designs and of concrete applied tasks put into operation in measuring, in diagnostics, in automated and control systems used in industrial work.
  • The first day of the Seminar will be devoted to mechatronics as a new area which connects applied mechanics with electronics, electro engineering and control systems.
  • It introduces new solutions, algorithms, prototype assembly and programs for various tasks implementation in the area of measurement, diagnostics and control including computer network applications.
  • The Seminar is determined for designers and users of measuring, diagnostic and control systems, for technicians and technologists of automated control systems, for technical workers in research, design and construction oriented on measuring, controlling, automation, control and information systems.

Instructions to the organization

  1. ASŘ´97 Seminar will be held on April 10. - 11., 1997 in Audiovisual Classroom No. J259 on VŠB campus in Ostrava, ul. 17. listopadu, Ostrava - Poruba.
  2. Instructions for contributors: Please, send the text of the annotation (it is possible to include pictures and most important sources...) on full one page form until March 15, 1997. The full text of your contribution in English or in the Czech (Slovak) language, max. 6 pages in total, (file of 1 Mbyte max.) till March 31, 1997 on a disk (or through E-mail) in MS Word 6 (7) editor including pictures. Only those contributions recommended by the Seminar program committee and those from participants who have paid will be placed in the book of contributions.
  3. Contribution layout: The first page - the name of the contribution, authors, addresses, annotation. The contribution text (it can be in 2 columns as well, including pictures, graphs and sources).
  4. For communications we prefere the Internet enviroment (E-mail).
  5. Participant's seminar fee :
    Fee (costs connected with organizing the event) 270,-Kč
    Book of Contributions ( printed list of annotations + a complete book on a 3.5" HD disk) 190,-Kč
    Total cost 460,- Kč
