| Text: | This paper deals with the speech analysis utilizing PC. Fist part contains indispensable mathematical apparatus needed for the acoustic signal processing. There is also some space given for certain artificial intelligence methods, which are often used in the speech recognition process. Second section draws from the experience acquired during the implementation of several speech analysis systems. There are presented results achieved using isolated words identification, recognition of sequences of isolated words and finally the application of the acoustical-phonetic knowledge to the speech without gaps between words. |
