| Text: | The contribution is dealing with interrupt request management mechanism at MS Windows NT/2000/XP in the co-operational hardware level, which use the interrupt circuits PIC (8259A). The major goal is reveal software solution, which is used in operating system to ensure priority ordering of published requests and which cannot achieve by the 8259A circuits. There are described approaches and resources for analyse of operating systems, along with obtained knowledge in the paper. Concurrently the paper evaluates established mechanism especially from the point of view real-time claims. |
